Our Story

In 1998, Grandmother Lakshmi started Deccan Spices with a simple dream: to share the authentic flavors of her village kitchen with the city. What began as a small eatery has grown into a beloved family restaurant, but our commitment to tradition remains unchanged.

Every recipe is still prepared following Grandmother Lakshmi's original methods. We source our spices directly from local farmers, ensuring the same authentic taste that made our restaurant famous. Our kitchen is run by three generations of the family, each bringing their own love and expertise to every dish.

Today, we're proud to serve families who have been coming to us for decades, as well as new friends who discover us every day. We believe that a good meal shared with loved ones is one of life's greatest pleasures.
